She is dedicated to her students and to her community.

Kara has taken dancers to perform at local events, as well as multiple trips to Disneyland in California, where they attended workshops and performed in parades within the parks.  Students at Abstract Dance Academy have won numerous awards at competitions throughout Alberta, and Kara has won Choreography awards on multiple occasions. Our wish at Abstract Dance Academy is to provide a loving, inclusive environment to inspire and encourage children to be their personal best. Kara looks forward to sharing her love of dance with returning and new students for years to come!

MS. AMBER

Amber has been teaching Yoga since 2007 and has worked for many years in the mental health and alternative health industries. Amber practices many forms of self-centred healing: yoga, meditation, shamanism, mindfulness, energetics, and subtle body exploration. Amber is very passionate about trying to find alternative ways of healing the mental, physical, and spiritual. After many years of self-exploration and trying to understand her own suffering, she realized that her experience of being mentally healthy could be "achieved" from many different modalities and active everyday choices. Amber strives to elicit a reflection of that possibility in her classes and teachings. Amber is also a mother to a little girl named Remington (meaning good luck and fortune) and married to a hard working farmer just South of Strathmore and in Saskatchewan.
